Without a morning ritual, you are tossing up whether you are going to have a good day or a bad day.
Whether you will invite beautiful energy into your day and hold the power to manifest.
Sounds dramatic I know, but it is true.
I remember the times, before my morning rituals where I would wake up at the last minute, rushing to get dressed and out the door setting myself up for a chaotic and hectic day.
And that is what would mostly manifest.
It used to start my day, as many do, with a loud and obnoxious alarm that jolted me from my serenity, as if it was screaming at me to get up and get out of bed to get dressed, get out into the world to go through the every day motions again, and again, and again.
It was depressing...
Seriously, that is how I felt and I tell you my days would suck!!! I would be sluggish, cranky and feel seriously stuck in an unproductive and negative vibe.
That was many many years ago, but now I have created an amazing morning ritual that totally sets up my day to be productive, positive and magickal.
My morning ritual changes as the flow of my life changes.
Altering with the changes in my life from when my son was a baby relying on me at all moments, now he is an adult who can fend for himself. It changes with the demands of working starting super early in the morning, to starting a little later and at times not working out of the home at all.
That is the beauty of creating and working with your own morning ritual, it is flexible and is what works for you.
You can fine tune it as you need to, adding things and letting things go to make it more suitable for you, whatever stage in your life's cycle you are at so that, most importantly, it totally works for you to get your energy flowing.
I'm not saying that my morning ritual works every time. I am a night owl, not an early bird at all so sometimes I do sleep through my alarms and wake up in a rush because I'm going to be late. (seriously, that has happened a few times, waking up to a phone call saying "Ummmm, Niki, where are you?"), but 99.9% of the time, my mornings are peaceful and the day unfolds amazingly.
So what did I do?
Where did I start?
Firstly, I changed my alarm sound. No longer do I wake up to that obnoxious noise, instead I wake up to beautiful music.
My phone is my alarm, so I have a number of songs on there that go off of a morning. And, as I mentioned, I am a night owl at heart, which in turn makes me a serial alarm snoozer, so I have quite a few alarms that go off but it is beautiful music that gently nudges me from my slumber.
That within itself was a major shift for me. The energy was softer. My mind was clearer and my heart would sing with the music. I woke up with a smile, not a grumble.
The rest of my morning rituals, as I said have changed over time, but this is what I do now.
When I wake up, I put both my feet on the ground and for a moment, just feel my feet solid on the floor. Almost grounding myself back into my body after my night-time adventures. I then stand up, raise my arms to the sky and stretch my body, gently moving and awakening it.
Then, as it is getting colder now, I put on my big fluffy dressing down and make my way into the kitchen and have a big glass of water. I then make a coffee and return to my bed for about 20 minutes and either read or journal.
When I have finished my coffee I get dressed while watching / listening to a YouTube clip. The topic varies each day but is usually spiritual or motivational.
When I am dressed I go out to the kitchen and make myself some breakfast. As it doesn’t really take long for me to get dressed I am usually still listening to the YouTube clip. The breakfast I create depends on the day, and what I am doing but it usually consists of a Smoothie of some sort. My favourite at the moment is a Banana, Mango, Honey and Cacao power with Almond Milk or a mixture of fruit and coconut water. If I don’t feel like a smoothie, it is something as simple as a bowl of muesli with yoghurt and fruit.
Usually with the clip finished but the time I have prepared my breakfast, while I am having breakfast, I sit quietly with a notebook and plan out my day.
What I want to achieve & what are the things I must do today. I also have a section for ideas that I can jot things down if I have received inspiration in my dreams…
This is what I call my "Get shit done" notebook.
Then when I am about to start with my day whether I am working at home our out of home I take a deep breathe and say out loud
"Today will be an amazing day",
"You've go this"
Now you may read this and think, I don't have time for it. Well I am here to tell you that you do and its an important part of your day. My morning ritual honestly takes about an hour each morning. That’s it, from getting up to walking out the door.
There really are no excuses
So now I have told you my morning ritual, I will give you a few tips on how to help you weave this ritual into your life.
Don’t waste another minute and create your morning routine..
I would love for you to share your Morning Ritual on my Facebook page, share with us how you are connecting to flow in the mornings.
What to do when you have so many changes you want to make but don’t know where to start
Do you have a plethora of things you want to bring into your life, many changes you want to make but feel overwhelmed with them all not knowing where to start?
Believe me, I know how it feels
To manifest my dreams in their entirety, I have sooo many changes I have to and want to make within my life.
But here is the thing, this is how my mind used to work.
When I recognised I needed to make changes I delved into researching them. I found myself recognising the more I researched a subject to learn how to make the changes, the more I realised I don’t actually know which made me want to deepen my knowledge on the subject before I even thought of making any changes….
Welcome to my mind, it can be quite intense.
My mind doesn’t spin around like that much anymore, but I am far from perfect.
I do sometimes get to the point where I feel yes, I am going to do that, and I realise that I just don’t know where to start, so I don’t. I come to a stand still…. Stagnant…. and I find myself feeling that anxiety rising.
I recently turned 40 and looking back over the past 10 years I recognised I have spent a lot of time procrastinating. Well, no that is a little harsh. I have spent a lot of time building my foundations both emotionally, spiritually and psychically, but yes, I have also done a hell of a lot of procrastination.
I recognise that I have spent a lot of time in the “I want to do this” space.
Don’t get me wrong, I have implemented a lot of things within my life that I have wanted to do, but upon reflection, I could have done more because my mindset sometimes jumps back into the spin I mentioned before.
But that’s ok.
I haven’t spent much time in the ‘I should have’ or ‘I could have’ space, I can now move to the ‘I can’ and ‘I will’ space within my mind quite quickly releasing the thought of ‘oh what’s the point I have so much to learn’, I just begin with baby steps if I am unsure or believe I am not knowledgeable enough on the subject, taking the learn as I go approach.
And what I mean by that is? Here are some examples.
I wanted to create a chemical free environment within my home by making my own cleaning products, personal products etc, but when I actually looked at everything I used within my home I felt overwhelmed at the thoughts of getting rid of it all and making everything myself.
So I started one by one replacing the products we used within the home.
I started with the washing powder, the moving onto other cleaning products, then started on personal products. That way I didn’t feel so overwhelmed, I just let the new habits create their space within my life.
I am not totally chemically free, but I continue to work towards that goal.
Another example which does tie in with the above is that I have dreams of living as self sufficient and environmentally sustainable as possible.
I recently attended a screening of a documentary on sustainability and as you can imagine that involves a lot of new skills that need to be learned and I was sitting within the theatre starting to feel a little overwhelmed again thinking omgoodness how am I going to do this. Again, the more I research the more I realise I don’t know about it.
But, many quotes from people within the documentary who are living sustainably were, just start. Do something, start small, and grow and learn from there.
At the moment I rent the home in which I live, so I cannot make major changes to the house, but I can work outside within the garden to create a beautiful environment, and that is what I am doing. Working on growing what I can for myself and also creating a space for wildlife to dwell.
I am finding growing my own food a little challenging. I am great with indoor plants, but tend to get ‘busy’ and forget to show my outdoor garden some loving, so I am still creating that habit within my life and I refuse to give up as I am learning along the way.
So my point to this post is, if you are feeling overwhelmed…. Don’t.
Yes, the changes you want to make within your life can be huge, but the hardest thing can be taking that first step and making that first little change in your habits.
It is remembering that you never fail (like is one of my plants die). It is an opportunity for learning, to know what you will do different next time.
Like the butterfly effect, that little step can ripple out to the universe to affirm YES! you want this, and then the universe will align and assist you.
Your next step will be easier, and then the next and the next.
And before you know it, you will see the changes you are making for the better.
My suggestion is to monitor your journey by keeping a journal. Write down how good it feels while you are working on implanting the changes, how beneficial they have become and how it is making you feel that your authenticity is shining that much brighter, how you are making a difference within your world.
I find that this helps, as the next time you are feeling overwhelmed, on the brink of giving up, you need only to read your journal so see how amazing you are and that little bit of light can help to give you that motivation to take that next step.
It can be so simple to create a beautiful and energetically clear home.
A place where the energy is clean and clear, where you are comfortable to be with yourself, to be able to look within connecting with the energy that surrounds you to be inspired to be the creative and authentic self that you are.
Cleansing a home can be done in many forms. It can be a quick ritual or a long ritual. It can be done by using Incense, Music, Chanting, Movement etc.
For this blog post I will walk you through a longer ritual using incense to cleanse.
Cleansing the energy of your space and it can make such a difference within the life.
So here is how to start
Grab yourself some incense. You can use a smudge stick, sweet grass, palo santo or even a few sticks of incenses.
So which ever incense you choose light it up, open the windows and let’s get started
With your incense smouldering away, move through your home...
When performing a deep cleanse, I start from my front entry and walk all the way around the house, along the walls smoking them and
breaking up the energy.
As I move around I chant or sing.
Nothing in particular, just what comes to mind.
You may want to choose or write a special chant that will help increase your intention of cleansing your home or you may want to put some of your favourite music on to sing and dance to that to increase the energy.
You may find this can take quite a bit of time, depending on how big your home is, but trust me, it’s worth it.
Once you have finished cleansing your whole home, you should also walk around the outside of your home, in your yard, garages, laundry etc, totally cleansing the property.
Can you feel the difference in the energy?
You can now, if you feel it is needed, walk through the rooms of your home and set an intention.
For instance, you can connect to your flow when in your bedroom and visualise and set the intention that you will always have a restful sleep within this room.
For the lounge room you may want to set an intention that this is a space where your family gathers to spend quality time together.
Within the kitchen you may set an intention that this is the space for nourishing your family, that your cupboard always be full and abundant.
The bathroom, you may want to set the intention that when bathe you are also energetically cleansing yourself.
It is beautiful and empowering taking responsibility of the energy within your home and making it a powerful and beautiful environment for you and your family.
You should cleanse your home on a regular basis.
This big cleanse I usually perform around the change of the seasons (or if someone has been ill within the home) however I usually walk through the home with some incense smoking each week freshening up the energy.
So get some incense, put on some music and cleanse your space.
I don’t spend much time scrolling through my Facebook feed, but when I do, I want to see things that will inspire me, will make me smile, will challenge my thinking and encourage me to walk my authentic path.
It is important within this information age with so many social media platforms to be particular to what you expose yourself to, what it is you are allowing into your consciousness and energy field. When you are working on manifesting and living your beautiful authentic life, you do not want to bring your energy down by watching mind numbing, negative and ridiculous posts.
Before I made changes to my Facebook feed I would have to scroll through many mind numbing posts to find a post that caught my attention.
I have friends that have stopped using Facebook completely, but I cannot do that as I have a business page, so if I am going to continue to participate in this Social Media Platform, I decided to clean up my feed.
It can take a while for the initial clean up if you want to it in one sitting, however you can clean it up a little each time you go on, and before you know it you will have an inspiring feed.
So how do you do it?
Here are five ways in which you can clean up your feed.
If you have a friend that always shares posts that you do not like, or you are sick of reading their every movement, just unfollow them. You are still friends with them, you just will not see what they post and they will have no idea you have done this so there will be no dramas.
If you do not want to unfollow your friend because you want to see their personal posts, but they share things from certain pages you do not like, on the post if you click on the three dots at the top right, you can choose to hide all from ‘name of the page’. That way, when your friend shares it, it will not appear on your feed.
Go through your liked pages. You will be surprised how many pages you have actually connected with and liked over the years. By liking so many pages, it is hard for Facebook to know which posts to show you, so you will probably see less of the pages you love. So if you no longer resonate with what a certain page is about and what it shares, unlike the page. You will find that after you go through and unlike pages, you will start seeing more of your favourites within your feed.
When you see sponsored posts on your Facebook feed and you don’t like the vibe of the page that is advertising, click on the little dots to the right and choose what action you would like to take, like the option to ‘hide add, see fewer adds like this’. This can really make a difference in your feed.
You can change the setting for your friends Facebook Page and the Pages you have liked to see them first. You can even set it to received notifications. That way you won’t miss a thing and instead of having to scroll through your facebook feed, you can go directly to this.
By doing this you can transform your Facebook feed into a place of inspiring videos, beautiful quotes, photos of friends and posts that will lift you up, make your heart sing and to help you manifest your dreams.
Making my own deodorant is another way in which I work towards my life of being as self sufficient as possible, making what I need within my home using natural ingredients.
When I realised how simple it was to make my own, how cost effective it was and how much better it is for our body and our beautiful planet I was blown away at why I had never thought about doing this before.
Making my own deodorant is another way for me to step a little lighter on our plant not using the chemicals or purchasing something that will (the container) be thrown away adding more rubbish to the earth.
Also a big thing for me is having recognised that the cleaner I eat, the better food I consume the better my connection to the universal energy. So it only makes sense to use natural products on your body right?
So do me a favour, go and get your deodorant.
Have you looked at the ingredient list on the side of your deodorant?
While grocery shopping today, I took a photo of a popular brand of deodorant and here is the list of ingredients.
Butane, Isobutane, Propane, Cyclomethicone, Aluminum Chlorohydrate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Parfum, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Talc, Persea Gratissima Oil, Octyldodecanol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Dimethicone, Propylene Carbonate, Dimethiconol, Geraniol, Benzyl Alcohol.
Yep that is what is written on the ingredients list.
This is what you are spraying on your body every day.
All that seeping into your skin, most of which you have no idea what it is.
Arhhhh, I cannot think of anything worse.
Now if you feel called to, after seeing that list of ingredients, throw it away and never use it again and begin to create your own.
Here is the simple way in which I create my own deodorant. There are many recipes out there, but this is what works for me.
Another positive to making your own deodorant is create your own scents using different essential oils. Today I made mine using a few drops of both Ylang Ylang and Lavender. It smells divine!
You can make a big amount that will last you longer, however I make little batches, so I can change the scent every couple of weeks.
So here is my recipe….
Mix equal parts of coconut oil and cornflour together then add some essential oil, the number of drops of essential oils depends on the size of your batch.
Yes, that is it.
Today I made a batch, which prompted me to take photos and write this blog post. I used a tablespoon of coconut oil, a tablespoon of cornflour and approx. 6 drops of essential oil.
After it is mixed you just need to place it within a clean container which you can purchase or use something you already have around your home.
And that is it, you now have your own natural deodorant created bu you. With your scent and energy held within.
You don’t have to make such a small amount as I did, just make sure when making a large amount that the oil and cornflour are equal in quantity.
You do not have to melt the coconut oil before you mix it with the cornflour, as soon as you start mixing it, it will soften.
To use, just grab a small amount with your finger (I use an amount about the size of a 5 cent piece) and rub it on your under arm.
You might find, in the winter months your deodorant hardens within the container. What I do to combat that is get that little bit out, place it under my arm and put my arm down to let my body heat warm the oil. After about 3o seconds I lift my arm and it is perfect consistency to rub on your underarm.
So I encourage you to no longer purchase your deodorant with all the chemicals and switch to using this natural and easy to make alternative.
What to do when you feel stuck
When you realise you have lost touch of your authenticity, it can be quite overwhelming to get your head around where to start to awaken your inner self. There may be so much that you wish to change, and you just don’t know where to start so here are a few steps to help you with that.
Don’t let yourself slide into a panic state of feeling overwhelmed. That energy will not get you anywhere. Try shift your focus to being grateful that you have removed the blindfold and can now clearly see that you need to make some changes in your life. Be thankful that you have recognised that you lost a part of yourself and be excited about the journey to come with the unfolding of you.
You cannot move forward attracting that beautiful energy which is you if you hold onto fear, panic or sadness. Acknowledge those feelings when they arise, but let them pass by, let them flow through and out of you and hold onto that feeling of gratitude.
Secondly Write it down
Get clear on what it is you feel is your authenticity, and I mean get specific
Where do you want to live?
Closer to the water? Close to the bush? Would you like a little bit of land or an apartment? And would that place be in another suburb?, another state?, or another country? Or exactly where you are? Is it the house you already reside and you only want to shift the energy within and around it.
How do you want to live?
Do you want to live simply? Do you want to be self sufficient? Do you want to travel? Do you want to get really good at cooking great nutritious food? Or do you want to be able to eat out every night at beautiful restaurants?
Do you want to go out more often? Or would you like more time to yourself?
What do you want to do for a living?
Do you want to work for your community? Do you want work somewhere that lets your creativity flow? Do you want to work in an environment with less pressure so you can focus on your hobbies? Or do you want to create your business from your hobbies? Do you want to make a huge change and delve into another career choice?
What does your authentic self do?
Do you spend more time in the garden? Go for midnight swims? Dance like no ones watching? Play a musical Instrument? Paint? Volunteer in your community? Make your own clothing? Create natural product? Get out more with your friends? Go see live music? Take a drumming class?
What does your authentic self look like?
Have you always wanted to have a little pixie cut? Have you always wanted long hair? Have you always wanted pink hair? What about dreadlocks?
You get where I am going here don’t you?
Get clear on how you see yourself living within your life. By being clear you know what you are working towards it is easier to manifest this energy as you can create a plan of action to get there.
The sky is the limit here. No limitations. Write this list as if there were no restrictions such as money, time or space.
Thirdly, Baby Steps
You don’t have to make all the changes needed at this very minute. That will make you feel overwhelmed. Throwing yourself into the deep end can be scary as hell, and make you return and retreat into your unauthenticity due to fear. So make little changes within your life. Begin to say no to the things that do not align with your authenticity, and say yes to the things that do.
If you are wanting to change your career, look into courses.
If you want to move, start looking and saving.
If you want to make changes within your self, start now.
You have to create a plan on how you are going to achieve these changes.
With change brings fresh energy, sifting through to old and welcoming the new.
Manifesting your authentic life takes action!
Lastly, work with the energy
Start working with attracting the energy to make the changes within your life, and releasing the energy that is no longer needed. You can do this by working with the energy of the phases of the moon, releasing in the waning phase and attracting in the waxing phase. You can use my worksheets free to download (click here). Using the worksheets you can keep track on your journey and make the necessary changes to re-discover your authenticity.
I want you to remember that everything you desire is achievable.
It can be hard work getting within that flow, working with the energy of manifestation, manoeuvring yourself around obstacles that pop up, understanding the lesson behind them and keeping on track with your end goal but know….
With focus you will find yourself within the flow where opportunities will present themselves to help you manifest your authenticness.
Within this busy society we can find that we lose ourselves within the day to day lives that we have created.
Then you reach a point and think ‘who am I?’ or “what is this life I have created?’.
We spend so much time running around, our minds full of to-do lists and scrolling through social media platforms that it is no wonder we find that we have lost ourselves.
We can unconsciously make decisions within our lives that we think are the right ones to make because that is what society says is right or safe or what you should be doing, and with each decision some of us walk further and further away from our authentic selves.
We need to take the time out to reconnect with ourselves and the energy that surrounds us.
We need to recognise what is right for us as individuals and what is right for the collective consciousness and let go of the pressures of society’s expectations on what your life should look like.
That my friend is where you find your authenticity.
Here are some tips on how to do that.
Pour your heart onto the pages.
Delve into the deepest parts of yourself, express your inner desires and thoughts.
Tap into that beautiful soul of yours.
By doing so you can unlock the door and remember your true self
You can find the hidden treasures within yourself, that divine spark that is you, and begin to recognise how you can piece together your authenticity.
Don’t know where to start or what to write?
Don’t stress. The important thing is that you just start writing about anything.
I promise you, you will be amazed at what ends up on the paper.
By being open and honest with yourself you will find yourself.
Meditation is a powerful tool to work in many areas of your life.
If you don’t find it easy to just sit in silence meditating, even with music or chanting playing, you may find guided meditations are the way to go.
There are many guided meditations out there (I find heaps on YouTube) that you can use everyday within your life. You can find ones to cleanse your chakras, change your throught patterns, strengthen your intuition, meditations to heal, morning meditations to set your day etc.
Meditation is a perfect way in which you can quieten your mind and tap into your intuition and let your inner you shine through. It will help relieve stress that is within your life before it creates blockages which can lead to illness.
Get into Nature
With our busy lives we forget to just get outside and soak up the energy of our earth mother.
We have fallen out of her rhythm, forgotten to hear her music.
Go to a place in nature that you connect with whether that be a park, the beach, the forest, by a lake or even your own back yard.
Find a space, sit, listen and watch.
Let your feet touch the earth to ground your energy.
Hear the sounds of our earth mother
Let her energy move through you
You will connect to your inner flow, which in turn awakens your authenticity
Creativity means different things to different people.
Whether it is drawing, painting, dancing, gardening, cooking, sewing etc, being creative allows you to access an area of your brain that we don’t always get to tap into.
It helps you to get out of the mundane mind and access your intuition.
It can also put you into a meditative / trance state.
So get out some paints or get out some pencils and create.
Put some music on and dance, let the music move through you
Get into your kitchen and cook up a storm
So what ever it is you do to get your creative juices flowing
Find your Tribe
It is so important that you surround yourself with people of like mind.
People that help you to look within, to push you out of your comfort zone.
People you can have in depth conversations with who will understand, or atleast try to understand your thoughts and feelings.
People who you can learn from.
People that see your true self and will raise you up and support you on your journey of authenticity.
If you have already found your tribe, cherish them.
Talk to them about your journey of finding your authenticity. Start the conversation as you may find that some within your tribe feel the same way and you can support each other.
If you do not have a tribe, find them.
Join groups, attend meeting and workshops, get yourself out there to meet new people and make the connections.
Perhaps within your mediations, focus on connecting with the energy of finding your tribe.
You will find that by taking the time to do the above tips, you will begin to get into the flow of your life.
You will begin swimming with the stream of your life, and not against it.
By connecting to that energy, you will find that things will happen.
You will find yourself in situations, circumstances, and events to aid with the connection of your tribe.
Making your ownWashing Liquid
I am always working towards living simply and organically within my home learning more and more each day about how I can make a difference and how I can reduce my footprint on this beautiful planet.
Each little thing I do helps me to feel more connected to the earth and energies around me.
Yes you can buy environmentally friendly products, and I do, however one by one I am learning how to create my own at home.
I recently shared a photo of me making my laundry washing liquid and received so many requests for the recipe so I decided to write a blog post with the recipe I use.
This washing liquid is better for the earth, better for your skin, and you are even able to use it as grey water in your garden.
Here is how to make it
* Either a Medium saucepan and a 10 litre bucket or a big 10 litre soup pot
* Containers for washing liquid (I recycle 3 litre milk containers)
* 1 1/2 litres water
* 1 cup of soap flakes
* 1/2 cup washing soda
Place the water into your pot or saucepan on a low to medium heat.
Add the soap flakes and stir until all have dissolved then add the washing soda and again stir.
When it all is dissolved and thickened turn the heat off and fill will water to the top of the pot. If you are using the medium saucepan pour your brew into the bucket, then fill the bucket nearly to the top with warm tap water and keep stirring periodically as it cools.
When it has cooled enough pour your brew into your separate containers leaving room at the top so you can shake it before use.
I use about 1/3 a cup per wash.
You will notice, when you use this laundry liquid, that it does not make suds in the washing machine, which is totally ok, because it does not contain the chemicals that are added to all of the commercial products to make them bubble.
When I use this, I collect the water from the output hose on my washing machine when it is on the rinse cycle and water my plants.
So there you go, conserving water, using a washing liquid that is way less harsh on our mother earth and on our skin, with an added bonus is that it works out so much more cost effective. You only use a little bit of the ingredients each time you prepare this brew, so about 10 litres of washing liquid ends up costing under $2.
Although making your own liquid is quite simple, I find these simple little things empowering.
Why would making laundry liquid be empowering?
I am creating my own laundry liquid with none of those harsh chemicals that are added to the commercial washing powers. So no nasty chemicals are touching my skin or ending up down the drain.
I feel I am strengthening my connection to the earth and the energies surrounding me as well as connecting to my ancestry, the simpler more holistic life. They had the knowledge of self-sufficiency which is something we have lost in this mass produced throwaway society.
I am empowered because I feel the strength within myself, broadening my knowledge of self-sufficiency, being able to create what I need at home when I need it with what I have in my cupboards, not having to get in my car, go to the shops and purchase something that is terrible bad for me and the environment.
I hope you find this blog post useful, and let me know how you go with creating your own washing liquid.
Moments within Moments
Yesterday afternoon I arrived at a beautiful property that my friends had rented for the weekend.
It is their wedding anniversary and to celebrate they had arranged a gathering in this beautiful property to renew their vows in a handfasting ceremony.
As the guests started arriving the joyous energy of the afternoon increased and there was laughter in the air and smiles all around.
With the circle prepared for the Handfasting and everyone inside getting themselves ready I took the opportunity to sneak out to take a walk around the property.
I have been so busy lately working, researching, planning and making changes within my space (and a bit of procrastination and Netflix thrown in there) that I've not been to the beach or taking my usual time out so it was a beautiful to have my moment of connection with the energy of the property
As I wandered past the beautiful ritual space that had been created, and walked through the gate my energy dropped, sinking deep into the earth, weaving with the roots of the large trees that surrounded me.
Looking around, listening to the sound of the wind moving through the branches of the trees above me, I felt energy surrounding me.
I felt those that dwell between the worlds peering through the thinning veils as we approach Beltane.
I stood there listening out for guidance from them.
Paying attention to the thoughts that are fluttering through my mind knowing that within them are messages.
Keeping myself within the flow and with each breath strengthening my connection.
I receive fleeting glimpses of what will come.
I feel the energy that is on it's way.
The newness that is coming with the changes that I am making within my space.
I know that these messages I have been receiving have been presented at the perfect time.
The serendipitous moments.
As I have mentioned in a previous post, life doesn't happen to us, it is happening for us and these moments I find myself in are all for a reason.
To remind me that I am on my path of discovery.
That moments within the moments are special.
That staying within the flow is what is needed to keep on track.
That making the time to find the quiet moments to connect with energy.
We are approaching Beltane, where the veils are thinning and it is easier to connect and receive guidance.
So take the time to connect.
Make the time to sit within nature and feel the energy.
Find your flow and move with it.
Let it take you where you need to be.
Beltane Blessings to you all
Full Moon Vibes.....
When the Moon is Full I feel its pull
I feel the energy from deep within
I feel my energy shift
As I walk to the oceans edge I call to the sea
From the depths of the sea
Come to me
Feeling my feet sink within the sand
Feeling the water surrounding me
Watching the moon rise above the horizon
The colour painting the sky
Drumming in the distance
Fire on the shore
The wyld stirring within
The elements surrounding me
I am reminded of simplicity
Things become clear as I cleanse within the ocean
I walk to the fire and listen to the drumming
Closing my eyes moving to the rhythm
Being in the flow
Being present within the moment
Feelings stirring within
A return to nature
A return to the Wyld
Freedom within the light of the moon
Adventure and thought
What have I been up to?
Well, moving out of the Winter slumber I can feel the cocoon that I had wrapped myself in slowly unravelling.
I have found myself remembering
Remembering that things always happen for a reason
Remembering to be in the flow of life
Remembering that I can choose how I live this life
And I participate in the flow and manifestations
I can work my magick
It is serendipitous how people and events come into our lives.
I have a house guest that has spent a few months staying in my home. He is my sons friend, in his early 20's, who needed a positive environment to breathe and move towards his future.
Being within my home, it is certainly obvious that I am spiritual. My home is my sanctuary and is very bohemian, filled with bits and bobs, beautiful rich colours smelling of incense and full of energy.
Of course my home is where he ends up laying his head.
Recently, after small conversations of thought forms, sacred geometry etc, I found myself in deep and interesting conversations with him about life, spirituality, mother earth, magick and much much more sharing YouTube recommendations, articles, authors etc.
These conversations could not have come at a more perfect time.
After what I realise to be an isolated and I won't say sad, but reflective winter, I feel that with the sun I am now growing in strength and brightness.
Having these deep conversations has awakened thoughts within me that have been held within for so long.
It inspired me that now is time to get out and about.
To create the experiences I have been longing for over the winter months
Then out of the blue a sista messaged me about going to a little beach festival
Of course I said, Yes lets go
On our way (a 3 hour road trip) we immediately delve deeper into our spirit
I shared my recent conversations and revelations and, of course, she shared my thoughts
Arriving at the Festival we walked around, still talking, and looking at the market stalls. We spent time sitting on the beach, walking in the shallows and still, more talking.
We sat and listened to some music
We walked through approx a hundred Kombi's parked for all the see, ready for the Kombi parade. This within itself pulled at my Wyld strings. My inner wyldling excited, wanting a van of my own to create a home on wheels to get out, adventure and explore.
As the sun fell we found a spot on the earth, a large grassed sports field.
We were silent
As I laid back I looked up to the moon
A perfect ring around it
I could not capture the beauty of it in a photo, it was for our eyes only
Then the count down began and fireworks ensued
It was beautiful
Absolutely beautiful and listening to the children laughing in excitement
Made my night!
We then jumped back into the car and made the 3 hour drive home still talking about our recent experiences, our journey, gratitude and much much more.
A full day of adventure with a sista delving into our spirit
The beginning of many journeys
Now..... I feel more connected to the flow
I feel more aware of my surroundings and peoples energy
I am noticing more messages from the Ancestors
I feel inspired to delve deeper into the unknown
To expand my knowledge
Even thinking it may be time to finish my degree in Herbal Medicine.
Let's see how it flows
The ocean is my happy place
My safe place
A place where I can let go of my worries
I can sit and stare at the waves and let my mind wander
This is a place that helps me in so many ways
I can sit and meditate
I can stare at the ocean, ask my ancestors for guidance, and let the messages flow to me
I can focus on the waves coming in, knowing that the magick I am working is coming to me
Then, in an instant, after the waves have crashed onto the shore again returning to the vast ocean I visualise the blockages within my life leaving me
When I am upset I can let my emotions out, let the energy flow out of me towards to ocean. I can walk to the water’s edge and let the waves wash upon my feet cleansing me
I often find myself staring out into the ocean lost in thought
I get amazing ideas here
I crave to spend time at the oceans edge and as you would know if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I’m there often.
Today was beautiful and sunny so I was able to spend longer there than usual.
I was even able to wear one of my summer dresses, such a change from the recent rugging up (even sometimes wrapping myself in a blanket) to spend time at the beach.
The sun was shining down upon my skin, warming me, and sort of reawakening my from my winter slumber or should I say sluggishness.
Before I knew it I has been sitting there for 2 hours looking out toward to ocean
Watching the waves form and break
Watching the sets roll in
Watching the surfers sitting on their boards then catching a wave
Everyone was out enjoying this beautiful sunny day today
I loved it and feel rejuvenated
Connected to my surroundings and all of the elements
Earth – The sand beneath my feet
Air – The breeze against my skin
Fire – The sun shining upon me
Water – The ocean infront of me
I am so blessed to live so close to the ocean
That Cleansing Wind
What a windy day today…
The August winds have certainly arrive and with a blast…
I had a very busy morning getting things done. Taking my son to the dentist, taking my car to the mechanic and then there was some washing and house work.
And, if you can believe it, I even had time for an afternoon nap.
With the winds arriving today, in a waning moon phase and so close to the dark moon, it was a great time to get outside and start to shed some of that winter funk.
That crazy, deep, no longer needed energy you have been working on releasing over the winter months.
So after my morning of running around, I took a moment to do just that.
I went out and stood upon the ground. Putting my attention to my feet, letting them sink into the grass. Feeling the grass tickling them, feeling the coolness of the earth upon them.
When I felt grounded I closed my eyes and lifted my head to face the wind.
I felt it's strong push across my whole body.
I was moving upon me with such force.
I visualised any negativity that was still hanging around being blown off me.
Anything that still had it's sticky little tendrils attached to me trying to keep its hooks in me, I saw it flying off my body.
I felt the winds move through me, cleansing my whole body.
It was invigorating but also exhausting.
When I felt cleansed, I literally came inside and cuddled up in bed for a couple of hours to nap.
Sleep came easy, and it was deep.
As I sit here now, 9:30pm I am still a little exhausted.
I can still hear the winds howling outside, and the windows rattling in my old little home.
If you have a chance, and the winds are still strong this weekend get outside.
Let the wind shake it up a little
Let it move through your hair and mess it all about
Let it move through your body and touch your core
Begin your cleansing as we move from the depths of winter into the spring
My connection to the moon
My connection to the phases of the moon is strong and I work with the energies everyday in one form or another.
On the New Moon I feel the promise of new beginnings and start new projects. Feeling her waxing phase of increasing energy building momentum with my goals. When the energy peaks at the Full Moon I dance on the beach watching her rise and I give thanks to the Gods and my Ancestors for all that I have achieved. Then, as the energy decreases in the waning phase I work on removing blockages that have been slowing my manifestations and then reaching the depths of the Dark Moon when the Ancestors are close I connect and obtain wisdom from them.
On a daily basis I connect to the energy, and let it flow through my life, through my body and always allowing the magick to happen.
Working with the phases of the moon is a natural process, one that connects us to a long line of Ancestry. In times past it was just a part of everyday life however in this busy society many of us have forgotten that special connection. The connection of moving through the cycles, waxing and waning, attracting and releasing.
Everyone knows about the energy of the moon.
When there is a glorious large and shining moon in the sky, if people are outside and glance at its glory, they take it in, look at it with awe, even if it is only for a second.
Fisherman fish by the phases of the moon.
Gardener’s plant and harvest by the phases of the moon.
Outdoor events can be planned around the full moon to provide more light.
Hospitals report more incidents around the full moon.
The oceans tides are connected with the moon.
Whether you are a witch or not, you know the energy of the moon.
All of our Ancestors at one time, long past lived by the phases of the moon.
Whether you realise it or not, this ancient knowledge is held with you.
This wisdom and knowing flows in your veins.
Held within your bones.
Is in your DNA.
It is a part of you.
This is why it only made sense to have the phases tattooed upon my skin.
My nieces boyfriend is an amazing tattoo artist. For years, he has been encouraging me to book an appointment with him to get a tattoo as I have always expressed my interested but because I am a scaredy cat and terrified of pain, I have always said yes I will, and never actually made the appointment. However around last Summer Solstice we settled on a date, the 5th March, just a few days after my birthday.
I was so nervous, again, thinking it would be an extremely painful process. Leading up to the appointment many people shared their ‘painful’ stories with me and when I told them I planned to get it down my spine they would look at me and laugh for a minute and then reiterate how much it was going to hurt.
I was a little worried, as while I was getting tattooed I wanted to be able to go within and pray to the Gods to dedicate this piece of art to them. To magickally infuse the tattoo.
When I woke the morning of my appointment I was so nervous but this quickly turned to excitement as I arrived at Damon’s studio in Sylvania. The moment I walked in I knew this was going to be a beautiful experience. There was a kind of magick within the studio. A vibe that I immediately resonated with. The studio was adorned with amazing sketches on the walls, plants, art pieces etc. So enticing to the eye. After sitting and chatting for a little, it was time to get on with it. Damon placed the stencil on my back and sat at his chair looked and said, ‘are you ready?”
I laid upon the bed and in a moment the nerves returned. It was as if I remember that yes, this is probably going to hurt.
With anticipation I lay waiting. He said, ok, I’m going to start now, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not painful, just uncomfortable. I likened it to being scratched on a sunburn.
So, as I layed on the table, I went within and dedicated my tattoo to the Gods.
Within my mind I sang songs to the gods, I visualised my Ancestors standing around the table watching the process. I visualised the ink being imbued with magick marking my skin. I remembered all the nights I have spent dancing and swimming under the light of the Full Moon.
I remembered the rituals I have held, and the little magick moments. There were certainly moments when being tattooed it was more uncomfortable than others, and yes, after a couple of hours there were parts that started to become painful, but I dedicated that pain to the Gods.
As I felt him work on each phase of the moon, I would connect to that energy. It was such a beautiful process and I am forever thankful to him for not only being the amazing artist he is to place such a beautiful piece upon my skin, but the fact that this moment, I was surrounded by family. Damon, my niece and my amazing son who came with me to support me.
With the moon phases now tattooed down my spine, I can literally say that my connection with the phases of the moon is literally the backbone of my magick.
I now want more, and thinking I will make it an annual birthday present to myself.
The only question is, what will I get next.
Still in the depths of winter and to be honest I am not really enjoying it, as I have mentioned probably a million times already, I am not one for the cold weather.
So this morning, I was so grateful to have no plans and the sun was out shining down on my front veranda.
As soon as I woke, I made a coffee grabbed a cushion and the book I am currently reading and sat out there soaking up that beautiful warmth.
I am currently reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. It’s about creative living beyond fear.
It is an easy read and I love that.
In recent years, I have had a lot of fears pop up in my life, so I am working at releasing them and this book is working it’s ‘magick’ at the moment. It’s not a self help book, it is just little stories about her experiences with her creative processes.
For so long, I have been planning to take little road trips. To find and stay at quiet little beaches, and when the weather is warmer I want to go but, I have had fears that have started to come up around that.
What if my car breaks down and I get stuck somewhere
What if I get lost
What if I get kidnapped because I am on my own (I realise how ridiculous that sounds)
And most of all
What if it isn’t as amazing as I visualise it will be.....
Silly I know, but these are the fears that are popping up within my mind.
They are a small parts of a larger fear, my son Takoda is turning 18 in a couple of months and I am realising that, although he will always be my little boy, he isn’t my little boy anymore and is forging his own way in this world.
But back to dealing with the fears.
They have been running around on my head for a while
Today, while Takoda and I were driving back from my accountant, I mentioned to him what was going through my mind. My fears that were springing up.
You know what he said to me.
"I know you are my mum and I love you, but omg stop it."
"You create the experience you want, so create an amazing experience"
I was gobsmacked.
So much wisdom.
And it is exactly what I have said to him a million times.
He was right.
If my car breaks down I am insured, I have roadside assistance and my brother is a mechanic.
I won't get lost, I have google maps and an actual map in my car. (yes they still exist)
I am not going to get kidnapped, I will stay in safe places
And most of all
It will be as amazing as I have visualised it will be..... Because I will make it that way.
So once we returned home, I cleared my space and lit my smudge stick.
I cleansed myself and my space
At the end of the waning moon, tomorrow being dark moon I release these fears.
Takoda is coming with me on my first couple of road trips just to ensure I don’t get kidnapped.
My Full Moon
As I mentioned in my previous blog post, this winter has meant massive transformation for me.
I have delved a little deeper into the darkness than I expected I would go (and to be honest deeper than I wanted to go) and there has been a shift within me.
I announced on my Facebook page the other night that I have decided to stop creating the Magick & Wyld E-Magazine. This decision was difficult but I felt was what needed at this time.
My creative energy is needed elsewhere.
I need to spend my time and energy on creating new experiences.
And, I have decided to share my magickal journey of transformation with you all through this blog.
I love writing and I would love to share my magickal life with you.
Within this blog I hope you get some inspiration to create magick within your own life.
I wanted to share with you my experience last Full Moon.
It was the first Full Moon evening in months that there was a clear sky to watch her rise.
And this is exactly what I needed
It was beautiful and I felt her intense pull
With the beauty of the afternoon, I got lost in the moment
Standing at the top of the sand dune I looked out to the ocean
Seeing the beautiful colours in the sky as the sun was setting
Watching the surfers still out waiting for that last wave before dark
Seeing members of our tribe arriving to join with us to watch the moon rise
I was filled with gratitude for my life
With gratitude for where I live
For the magick I weave within my life
For those little moments where I feel that time stops and I am the only one around
When I feel deeply connected to all that surrounds me
These are the moments that I crave
And this is the reason I am planning little road trips for when the weather is warmer
To find secret places in nature, to get lost within time, to disconnect to feel connected
Working my Magick and Making plans
As I continue to delve into the Winter Solstice time of reflection, so many things have come to the surface and have made me think about where I am at this moment within my life.
Within the last 13 moons, so many things have happened.
A relationship began but did not have the strength to succeed
Magick & Wyld was full of activity with the E-Magazine and that has slowed
I began to focused more on health and then that was forgotten with my treadmill again gathering dust and joggers somewhere in my room
I could go on, but I don’t want to.
When I look at it all, I am in the exact same position I was in this time last year. And, if I am honest with myself, the last few years.
Although yes, I have learned through these experiences, especially within the last year, I have not achieved what I wanted to.
I ask myself why and what am I going to do about it
To be honest, I feel I have been a little slack in my own magickal practices. Putting all of my energy towards keeping my clients on track I realise I have lost some of my own mojo.
This is a reminder to practice what I preach.
So it begins
The other night I began creating a vision ‘wall’. I have my bed against a wall in the corner of my room draped with material creating a little nook for me to sleep within. On the wall right near my head I have begun to stick up pictures that inspire me. Picture of what I want to do, how I would like to live. Every evening this is the last thing I look at and I can dream of the fabulousness that I will manifest.
In the morning, I can wake and spend a few moments looking at the space inspiring and reminding me to work my magick throughout my day.
Working from the Winter Solstice with the rebirth of the sun and its building of strength, I will continue to work with this energy, combining it with the energy of the moon phases, on every waxing moon I will add photos to my wall of manifestation.
There are 2 important things I am working on, and knowing that when they fall into place the other items will slide on in. I am working on strengthening the Magick & Wyld E-Magazine, and also planning mini road trips up and down to the coast.
What are you manifesting in this waxing energy?
Winter Solstice Magick
A beautiful day of darkness.
The shortest day and longest night of the year.
A time when, although it will still get colder in the coming months, we know that the light will again return to the earth.
From today the sun will stay with us a little more each day growing in strength.
We now enter the waxing part of the year.
I equate this time to the Dark Moon (how perfect that it is Dark Moon on Friday) when we can go within, connect with our Ancestors for guidance and reflect of what has happened over the past year.
It is a time to think on what it is you would like to manifest within the waxing phase of the solar cycle as the sun grows in strength which helps you manifest your dreams (and offcourse adding your moon magick to boost it all).
Winter Solstice Magick
Spend some time today to reflect.
Remember the things you wanted to manifest last Winter Solstice.
What has become of those wishes?
Did they manifest?
Did you forget what you asked for?
Did you not put in any effort or work your magick throughout the year to manifest it?
Whatever your answers are to the questions above, you must give thanks to the Gods and Ancestors for all the experiences throughout the past year.
Give thanks for lessons learned.
We must recognise that every experience, positive or negative, is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Sit for a moment and farewell the year.
Let it go.
If you need to, write on a piece of paper something to let it go, this could be as simple as writing Goodbye.
Then burn it.
Now, think on what you would like to create in the coming year.
Create a manifestation list
Then when you have figured out what you are attracting for the coming year, take a page for each item on your list.
Write your item 1 at the top and then below that write down the different things you are going to do to manifest it.
One by one go through the items on the list and detail your 'actions' (both magickal and physical) that are needed to manifest that which you desire.
I suggest you go into as much details as possible, so that you can regularly revisit this list to change it, add to it and work through it.
You have to do more than just write it down.
You have to put your time and energy into manifesting it.
How do you expect the energy of the Gods, the Moon, the Sun etc to work its magick if you do not align yourself with it and push it into the right direction.
Here, now, at Winter Solstice, you are working your magick and changing your life.
Step outside your comfort zone
Delve deep realising your dreams
What life have you always wanted to manifest?
You are essentially creating a magickal 'To-Do' manifestation list, so that at next Winter Solstice, you can look back and think how far you have come with your manifestations.
Wishing you all a beautiful and magickal winter solstice.
My Dark Moon Meditation
This month, I recommenced my Delving into the Moon meditation evenings.
It was great having a few months off from holding workshops but wow I missed it and it was a profound meditation for me.
I was immediately taken into the underworld where I was greeted by Persephone. After a conversation about love and what some call a Twin Flame connection we decided to cut the cord that was connecting me to a cycle that apparently I have been repeating over lifetimes. She looked at me and said, cutting this cord will hurt.
My response: It can’t hurt as much as it already does.
She smiled and cut the cord.... I was free....
Then I was immediately thrust to my usual Ancestral Fire where I meet with the same Ancestor I meet with every Dark Moon.
Then, behind me I feel my Grandmother approaching me. This is a big thing for me as although I communicate with my grandparents often and feel their connection all the time, they have never actually come to me within my Dark Moon Meditations.
She hugged me and said finally!! You have cut the cords and have ended a cycle. Ended a cycle of your life that has carried on for lifetimes. Now that it is cut, a new avenue will emerge.
The conversation with my grandmother was beautiful and very deep.
Then, I see my Grandfather walking over to us. He hugged me and said to me
We hear you... We see you... We are always here...
They then held hands, turned around and walk into the trees and disappeared.
I sat by my Ancestral fire and thought on what my Grandparents said to me.
I recognised that the cord I just cut, was something that would release me from the energy that I have held around love, and what has repeated throughout this life, and many others as advised by my Ancestors.
Within that moment, I saw and felt the behaviours & emotions of the past leaving me.
I saw everything in that area of my life with clarity.
What a beautiful lesson to learn and how comforting that my Ancestors came to me in that moment to support and congratulate me on releasing that energy.
My Magickal Space
On Sunday, (as I usually do) I spent time at my place at the beach.
I am currently reading The Four Agreements.
The book has floated in and out of my life many times over the years and I've never picked it up.
But on the weekend, it again popped up and I grabbed it and delved in deep.
There are words within the book that I cringe with, using the words spell, black magic and white magic in a way I would not, but I ignored my 'thoughts' on how those words are used and read on.
Sitting at the beach I am reading through the second agreement.
I got to a part where it says....
The mind has the ability to talk to itself, but it also has he ability to hear information that is available from other realms.... our minds also exist in the level of the gods....
It then went on to talk about the 'chatter' within our minds and not paying attention to it. About how the chatter within our minds is likened to walking through a shopping centre and hearing the noise from everyone talking etc and distracts us from 'being'. (we all know that right!?) That the mind lives in more than one dimension, and at times you perceive things not undestading their origin, and that can be from the place of the gods.
I sat for a moment and thought about this. Staring out towards the ocean thinking of how when we work our magick we do tap into the place of the Gods. The world between world's.
Then, in an instant, like someone had just turned up the volume of nature, all I could hear were the waves, the wind, the crickets, the birds etc. Sooooo loud.
The feeling of the breeze against my skin was intense.
Watching the magpies flying and dancing within the air was magnificent.
And Omgoodness the colours of everything around me was brilliant.
In that moment I felt like I had stepped between the vales and was experiencing everything so much clearer than I had ever before. I cannot describe it to you.
It felt like it lasted a minute or two (but goodness knows really), but then some people ran up the sand dunes laughing and I returned to myself.... but wow.... what an experience.
Simple yet Magickal
Full Moon Magick
I am so grateful for the connection that I have with the moon, with my ancestors and the gods.
My connection is deep and very magickal.
This Full Moon was a powerful one for me.
As usual, every Full Moon, I join my tribe at the beach to dance and drum as the moon rises.
This Full Moon, before the darkness arrived I walked to the oceans edge to give thanks to one particular Goddess.
I have been working with Aphrodite for most of last year, asking her assistance to allow my heart to open to love.
Late last year, Septembers Full Moon, the gods showed me that this was a possibility and I opened my heart to a man.
It was beautiful and confronting all at the same time.
It was a whirlwind few months with the Ancestors completely throwing me out out my comfort zone with everything moving along so quickly.
Although it did not work out, destined that we would not be together, I was shown that I could in fact open my heart and allow love into my life.
Yes, I was very sad that this relationship did not continue, heartbroken you could say. I was sad that our paths changed, and it was not destined to work and within that sadness I got angry with the Ancestors for putting me in this position of heartache. "They know how fragile I am in the arena of love", I thought, "they have been with me on my life's journey every step of the way, why would they do this?' but I did not sit in that energy for long.
After many years of my heart being closed off to love, I realise that this is a possibility for me.
So this Full Moon, I walked to the oceans edge with love in my heart and gave an offering of dried Rose Petals from the roses that adorned my altar at Beltane.
I gave thanks to the Gods for meeting him, for bringing him into my life, allowing the deep connection to manifest so quickly therefore showing me that I could open my heart.
Showing me that I can make room within my home, my heart and life for love.
For that I am very grateful.
For lessons I have learnt within those few months that we spent together.
For finding my voice, for stepping outside my comfort zone, for showing me what I actually want within a relationship, for pushing through my fears and allowing me to be vulnerable.
As I stood at the oceans edge I connected with Aphrodite sending her my energy and deep gratitude.
Knowing that this experience has bought me that much closer to finding my love.
Finding my twin flame.
My Anam Cara
I remind you that on the Full Moon, it is important for you to give thanks and extend your gratitude to the gods for all that you have and all the magick that has, or has not manifested.
To thank them for their assistance. You cannot always ask, ask, ask without giving back to them. It is just rude and disrespectful.
Our magick is not always about spell work, it is about connection. The balance of giving and receiving.
You must take the time to just honour and give thanks.
Manifesting your Magick
So you may have made some new years resolutions, all excited about the changes you want to make within your life, and then a week goes by you may sit and think, how am I actually going to manifest this within my life.
How is it going to work?
How can I keep on track?
How can I make sure that I stick to this?
One way you can do this is to connect to the phases of the moon, working with the waxing and waning energy.
I have decided to create a range of incense blends for you to bring a little magick into your life.
To help you work with the energies of the moon phases to manifest whatever your heart desires.
To explain the energies in short, lets start at the:
Dark Moon: A time to connect with your Ancestors or the Gods to receive guidance.
New Moon: This is a time of New Beginnings. When you announce to the Gods and Ancestors what you are wanting to manifest.
Waxing Moon Phase: This is the time between New and Full Moon when the energy of the moon in increasing and you can work your magick on attracting something to you.
Full Moon: This is a time of abundance and great power. Any magick can be worked at this time
Waning Moon Phase: This is the time between the Full & Dark Moon when the energy of the moon is decreasing in strength and you work your magick on releasing energy.
We are then back at the Dark Moon. (For 2017 Moon Phase Dates click here)
You can continue to work your magick through the phases of the moon to help you with your manifesting. Working in the waxing phase attracting and building, then working through the waning phase releasing blockages, that energy that is holding you back.
When you connect with the moon phases, you can start to see the flow of your life and everyday, work your magick on manifesting your future.
The first blend I have released is for this coming full moon
The Full Moon energy strong, her energies at their peak.
It is a great time to work magick on anything really, to utilise that powerful energy.
Also, at the Full Moon it is a time of love and gratitude. To send that energy to your Ancestors and the Gods for all that you are manifesting within your life.
This Full Moon Blend includes
Jump on over to my Etsy Shop to purchase before this coming Full Moon, 12th January. Limited available.
As each phase of the moon phase comes upon us, I will explain within these blog posts what you can do.
What will I be working on this Full Moon you ask?
I will be asking the Gods and my Ancestors for strength and courage to step forward in my life, to step out of my comfort zone and bring forth my amazing future.
I will be honouring them with deep gratitude for the lessons that I have learned, especially over the last few months. Its been a heart breaking time for me, but I am weaving my magick to work through it, and to release what I do not need, and to attract the changes that I need.
With my magick, I can take responsibility for my feelings, my actions and my life.
So why don’t you connect to the phases of the moon and manifest the life you have always wanted.
